Lean it UP

Desperate to lean up and get a good physique; it’s time to burn heavy and ruthless to get that beach ready body instantly.  Shedding kilos at the start is very easy given the fact body is not accustomed to exercise and every inch you move increases metabolism. The real fight comes in for that last layer of flesh; where work out is at an optimum level, metabolism rate is high but time is not in favor for a long wait to get that desired physique. Let’s look at the ways to kill that disturbing layer of fat and get that classy look we desire.

Weights: start pulling if you are not doing this
If you intend to lose weight and are not working on muscle building you are running behind schedule. Start as per your capacity and then climb the ladder work, pulling weight helps in muscle building thus making you lose that extra skin. Muscles act as a fat burning vessel, the smaller the vessel lesser you burn. That is the reason architects of weight loss have always cited balanced diet and exercise as the perfect way to achieve goal rather than a single of them.

High intensity interval training
It’s time for you to push a little bit more. Start increasing the quantum of workout you do to sweat more and burn more.  Go hardcore and go local. Change the platform of running, if you used to run on flat surfaces start sprinting hills, if you do an elephant run than start sprinting. Be sure to not push yourself beyond limits to avoid injuries. As they say stretch only to the limit your body allows.

Sports
The flow of adrenalin, spirit, confidence, joy a sport can give you nothing else can. Sports help keeping the mindset fresh with a competitive spirit to push harder always alive. I still remember my field hockey days, whenever a defender used to steal the ball away from an attacker; attackers ran like USAIN BOLT. Don’t play to be a champion, play to enjoy the game.

Yoga and meditation
No mind full of stress can produce desired results. Be free from all pains and worries whenever you work out. The body needs to fly like a bird and birds should always fly above the crowd. Yoga and Meditation are sure shot ways recommended by yogis to turn into peace.

Stop Worrying start Doing
Focus on Karma rather than Scales.

Separating logics from Silliness

Separating logics from Silliness

It’s been 7 months i have been following the so called weight loss program jargon and it excites me this day to share my opinions regarding myths and true science behind the weight loss concepts. There are as many opinions as mouths in this world, be rest assured to analyse everyone’s opinion and follow a path which you think is correct; every individual can never be measured on the same yard stick.
There are some myths that die over time, however myths like “chocolate causes acne” keep on bouncing back. Let’s face it Silliness is fascinating and catches eye balls a lot early as compared to the reality. So before you start making a plan for your weight loss make sure you have everything planned and a vision to break through. All weight loss plans have very similar core pillars: Balanced Diet, Healthy Sleep, and Regular Exercise but “ This is just not interesting for people”.

Here I present the top nutrition and exercise myths for you:-

1.       Eggs are bad for you.
Just like every car has its own gasoline requirement to run, similarly every human body is different and has its own requirement. Completely agreed to the fact that core of egg contains fat, but labelling eggs as bad for you is just the wrong way of looking at it. Eggs contain saturated fat and no Trans fat, saturated fat is to be consumed as per our bodies capacity, need and burning yield. So, next time you pop up an egg toast on your plate do not worry , just check the quantiy you need for yourself, cholesterol intake daily should be limited to 300 mg. Be sure to do your maths right to avoid hate rate for eggs.

2.       Carbohydrates are bad for you( as popular in india” Mom don’t cook chapatti for me i am on a diet”)
There is a huge underlining difference between good carbohydrates and bad carbohydrates and we need to understand it. There is a specific quantity required by the body and if you are not providing the same to it , you are losing health not weight. Pilling on white breads and pasta is surely what i not meant; but good carbohydrates like vegetables, fruits, whole grain are surely not the ones to be missed. Studies have shown that initial weight reduction going on a low carb diet will be countered by higher weight gain post a quantum of time when the body gets used to the system.
3.       Everyone is a doctor, but you are your best doctor.
Nobody can tell you how your body feels post food article consumption better than what you can tell to yourself. For some Dairy might be an issue, other carbohydrates might be a problem; one needs to track down body’s resistance and reaction to all food articles and similarly craft his diet plan. When i was in my weight loss program i tracked consuming” Curd” used to make me feel heavy and fluffy, and on consumption of “hot milk” i was indifferent to it. Everybody has his or her own genetic reactions to food ; so analyse before you start jotting down what to eat and what not to eat.

Weight Loss and common Myth’s

Weight Loss and common Myth’s

Many of us during our teen age have given a good weight to weight loss for some even to weight gain. With ever growing digital world and information on finger tips we are regularly bombarded with different sets of information and viewpoints for weight reduction. Here we will try to eliminate basic misconceptions of weight loss which may apply to majority of the dreamers if not all; as you cannot measure all on same yardstick.
No matter how dedicated you are towards weight loss, cheating your diet plans is a common habit. Many of us have given a shot to weight loss by eliminating few nutrients from our diet, but at the end we always pack more pounds on our bellies. It is a hardcore ground reality no short term efforts can fetch you ever lasting results. Weight loss requires dedicated effort and be rest assured perseverance is the only way to success.  While we all look for that magic wand to reduce weight, but those wands that glitter to our eyes generally lead you to gain weight rather than loosing.

TheleVaala’s and Fast Food: every society has cultural food diversity and you should embrace it in your diet in a proper manner. It’s all about choices you make that derive your success. Take a break once on regular intervals, but reduce the double cheese to single cheese; aerated beverages to juices. Taking a regular fast food break keeps you mentally healthy and socially acceptable on food diets.
Round the Clock snacking: - The idea to not eat meals and skipping food only makes you starve and overeat the next time you eat. One should regularly eat something in regular intervals so as to avoid overeating and not feel the fatigue. I hope we are on a common base when we talk about snacking. CHole Bhature, Vada Paav the traditional indian delicacies are surely not the snacks we are talking about. Foods like nutritional chips, baked snacks or fruits are actually the snacks one should eat between lines to avoid overeating.
Stress and weight: - in this era of 21st century, where you have professional and personal stresses lying besides us. The zeal to excel ruling our brain has made stress a common life partner. Stress for majority leads to a larger appetite, appetite is food. I would really appreciate we do not go into depth of the scientific relations, but in major population the stress leads to weight loss. Whenever you start a weight loss program start with yoga and meditation; yoga and meditation helps you lose stress and makes you more a dedicated person towards the goal.

Carbohydrate balance and Body: carbohydrates are an essential part of energy in body and you have to regulate the intake of carbs in body in a calculated manner. Carbohydrates intake when reduced you start losing water weight, be sure to work out heavy on abs and gaining muscle weight in case you want to have a sleek and good figure. I at the start of my weight loss programme lost 16 kilos in 6 months by regulating my diet and working out hard, later I had a flesh hanging on my stomach which looked worse than my heavy belly. I had to regain 10 kilos to give my abs a shape that looked proper. So whenever you work out, work out in a planned manner. What will look good on the weighing scale might not lead you to have a figure you desired.

Age, Weight and Metabolism: - with growing age your body’s metabolism slows down. Raise your eyebrows whenever you see a doubt. A calorie is a calorie and everyone has its own metabolism to burn it. So what takes an individual 10 days might take you 5 days only; so always try regulating your diet and keep a track record of your results.
Have a look at the title: we start with a BOLD BLOCK, in the middle we start becoming catchy and when we kill our weight loss program “we Shine and Glitter”.
Happy Karma!!!
