Indian Railways told to pay Rs.75000 to passenger whose seat was occupied by unauthorised persons

Breaking news at Best blog of india - V.Vijay Kumar was traveling from Vizag to New Delhi on March 30,2013 when the incident took place. He had claimed some people occupied his lower berth which is already reserved by him.These passengers had created lot of nuisance and inconvenience to him and other passengers as well.
When he went to search for the ticket checker to complaint but no one was to be found.
The district forum had also asked the Railways to deduct one third of salary of ticket checker as compensation who failed to ensure that the passengers seat was not used by anyone else
“The compensation of Rs. 75000 awarded by the district forum is reasonable and appropriate ” the bench said
