FICCI LADIES INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH INDIAN ORIGIN CANADIAN BOY WITH BIG BRAINS
Newspatrolling.com Canadian boy Tanmay Bakshi , a Thirteen year old computer programming sensation, an App developer, a keynote speaker ,an IBM advisor and You Tuber wants to inspire other kids and beginners to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and highlight its limitations.
“Dedication and never give-up attitude is what matters than anything else. One has to solve problems and learn new things. Artificial Intelligence (AI) trend is a transition from regular, plain and simple computing, to machine learning, and all transitions are painful initially. However, transitions have to be made. And so, AI is most certainly the “technology of the future”. Said Home schooled Tanmay Bakshi, while speaking at an Interactive session organised by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) here today.
“Start with one language and others will be easy to pick up. Coding isn’t all that difficult, rather it should be taught in schools at an early stage . People think that Artifical Inttelegence will take over our jobs and replace humans, But these are fears only and this is impossible that is why it is called Artificial intelligence not ‘Intelligence’ “ said Tanmay Bakshi, who is world’s youngest IBM Watson Programmer and is working of AI ..
Tanmay aspires to inspire at least 100,000 kids, and beginners. Young lad has his own youtube channel which focusses on tutorials to teach apps, he is also a huge Amitabh Bachchan fan and hopes to get his book autographed by the legendary Bollywood actor.
“It is crucial we equip future generations to think about the world in a new way. We are already living in a world dominated by software. Tanmay is an inspiration for us and especially the kids, which is why we invited the children of our members also as part of the interactive session .” Said Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram, President, FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) .
“This has been a very special programme and to ensure extensive outreach and benefits, and through this session, we aim to inspire everyone with Tanmay’s insights on how we can encourage our next generation to combine mathematics, logic and algorithms in a more comprehensible way and generate further interest in the digital arena.”
