Aditya Thackeray demands resignation of education minister and Mumbai University VC

NewsPatrolling.com : Aiming to target the BJP, Aditya Thackeray today demanded the resignation of state education minister Vinod Tawde and Mumbai University vice chancellor Sanjay Deshmukh. Aditya, son of the party president Uddhav Thackeray and Yuva Sena chief, made his demands when he met Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao at the Raj Bhavan. Aditya accused Tawde and Deshmukh that they have created a mess at the online assessment process of the university. He said that both people have failed to do their jobs properly, which is why they should be asked to resign from their posts. Aditya asked the Governor to consider his request and take action against Tawde and Deshmukh.
It may be recalled that Shiv Sena has always been pointing fingers at BJP, even though both parties are part of the alliance that is in power in the state and at the national level as well. “I urge you to take their resignation for their absolute failure to conduct the basic work of the Mumbai University, taking it to a pit that it has never gone down to before in its over 100 years old history,” Aditya said in a letter that was submitted to the Governor. However, the accusations seem a bit unnecessary since Mumbai University has already announced four lecture-free days to fast-track the online assessment process.
