Newspatrolling.com / Newzopedia.com : BIG FM, one of India’s largest radio networks successfully celebrated its new initiative #BIGThankYou through the month of April with citizens of the city. It provided Delhites an opportunity to thank those known and unknown samaritans, who couldn't be thanked earlier for being selfless.
Speaking on the #BIGThankYou, BIG MJ Khurafati Nitin said, “There are times in life when people help you at a crucial time and leave before you can thank them. With this initiative, we are providing an opportunity to all our listeners to convey their ‘thank you’ to all the people who have helped them and in the process trying to inculcate the habit of thanking people.”
A series of on-air, on-ground and digital activities were initiated to encourage the culture of ‘thank you’. Many inspiring stories were aired throughout the month including a doctor/nurse who played a critical role in saving lives during road accidents, sweepers and cleaners who help keeping the city clean to the office boy who is always there for any kind of help required by the employees.
The radio station acknowledged and honored some police personnel across departments in the force who joined hands in this initiative. BIG MJ Khurafati Nitin felicitated Mr. Deepender Pathak, Chief Spokesperson of Delhi Police and Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) for maintaining law and order in the city. He also shared brave accounts of police professionals to acknowledge their continuous efforts while inspiring listeners across the city.
In its continuous endeavor of sharing not only good music, but inspiring stories with listeners too, BIG FM’s #BIGTHANKYOU campaign successfully highlighted stories of gratitude and displayed the big heart that Delhiities have and are known for across the country.
